World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Database

International Telecommunication Union - ITU

ITU's World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Database is the the main source of global, and internationally comparable, ICT/telecommunication statistics. Collected directly from governments by means of an annual questionnaire, ITU verifies, harmonizes and complements data through online research, and operators' annual reports. Market research data are used to cross-check and complement missing values. These statistics are used to track the Information Society, to measure and overcome the digital divide and to identify market potential and investment opportunties. They are also an indispensable tool for policy makers.
